I'm an introvert so I've no idea why I created this section!

I actually learned to type on one of these contraptions.  I do miss the clickety-clack of the keys and the "ping" of the carriage return.  I don't miss the RSI and the Tippex paper required to correct 5 carbon copies.  This paragraph will be gobbledygook to younger readers.

I'm a qualified Counsellor and I specialise in grief counselling for people and pet owners.  My latest way of supporting people is by setting up a store on Etsy to sell sympathy comfort products - candles, journals and mugs. I've just started on there (end of August 2025) so check it out and support a new shop and someone who is passionate about what they do. I'm on there to sincerely support people who are grieving a loved one or a pet, not just to make a quick buck by jumping into a popular niche. 

I'm a self-avowed crazy bird lady.  One of my parrotlets, Peter Pan, sings the Addams Family. Don't get me started about how smart birds are. Oh, wait, I can write a book about it!

That's enough sharing for an introvert!  I share best through writing so I hope you enjoy my books.

I write to inspire, encourage, entertain and educate. 

My books will appear on this website for purchase. I am working on several at the moment and have published one. This is a totally new venture for me so books on my site are sparse, one to be exact. Oh, two really with my ghostwriting for Walkie-Talkie Faith.

My first publication is a Children's Book called Cooka the Quiet Chameleon. I had no intention of writing a Children's Book. I just started writing and voila! I hope your children and the child within you enjoy it.

It's brilliant for kids who are shy, quiet, introverted, or neurodiverse with these traits. 

Many people don't realise that we introverts are like a splendid, divine, antique house with fascinating hidden rooms and chambers.  Those who take time to get to know us discover these hidden treasures.  Those who don't bother are missing out on something special.

Cooka the Quiet Chameleon is an homage to all the children and grown-up children who were told they should be different. Cooka and I are here to remind you that you are an absolute delight. There's nothing wrong with you and so much right with you.
